Not a problem Barb, just the revisiting of a childhood trauma… nothing to see here – haha!

I thought the little guys (starlings?) were extremely businesslike and polite. They kept up a cheerful babble the whole time, so I barely noticed that my fish & chips disappeared in under a minute.
But the birds just don’t bother me. Even the dog is easy to take. You see, I’ve seen four kids through their teen years. I thought my son and his friends were scary—they could go through my kitchen and even the dry pasta would be gone—but they were rank amateurs compared to my youngest, a teensy little thing who along with her gal pals once demolished an entire huge holiday turkey in minutes. Piranhas would have been jealous.

LOL!
I got lucky. I have just one daughter, and she never really went crazy snarfing food in the kitchen. (I thought it was because of my cooking.) Then she started bringing her friends over. It was like a horde of locusts, nothing was left.

It’s true. There is nothing scarier than a herd of hungry teenage girls.

Sigh…big finger, small phone screen…I’m really not an egotist, liking my every comment. Maybe I need to stick to my computer – no more replying on my phone’s tiny screen. Sigh.
