I’m thrilled and so grateful to Georgia Rose for this wonderful review of Don’t Touch from my Null City series—ESPECIALLY because when my publisher switched distributors recently, all the earlier reviews (for the entire series!) disappeared from Amazon.

Until now I had viewed the Null City books from a bit of a distance thinking that I don’t really do fantasy, let alone urban fantasy – whatever that may mean – and I’m certainly not YA so these can’t be for me. Right? Wrong…how wrong could I be? I was hooked from the moment I read this:-
‘Hope flares each morning in the tiny flash of a second before Lette touches that first thing. And destroys it.’
From earlier Amazon reviews:
“If you like Null City’s fast paced edgy romance cum chase scene, Don’t Touch is a different tempo with the same cool, different, and edgy characters.”– Mary Rosenblum, best-selling author and instructor at the prestigious Clarion West Writers Workshop
“You just know when you read something written by Barb Taub it’s going to be vividly imaginative and full of humour, fun and excellent writing. This intriguing and engaging story is no exception.”—Cathy Ryan for BetweenTheLines
“Barb Taub, I am going to get another Null City book soon, as long as you tell me one thing – what are you ON, and if you have any left, can I have some??!!”—Terry Tyler, best-selling author
“What a fabulous story! I really enjoyed this unique book, full of interesting characters and fascinating magic powers. The idea of people inheriting abnormal powers that they just want to be rid of, and what they go through to make that happen (or learn to live with who they are) makes engrossing reading.” — Reviewer Sonoma Lass
“…let me tell you I want to read more of this heroine and her companions…Her feelings and decisions resonate well within me, and the two male characters pose a fantastic balance to her emotional evolution and to the story. One of them is really important to help Lette realize who she is. The other one is strangely well suited to her wits and temper. Both of them are necessary and very welcome…There is magic, bad guys you want to punch in the gut, intense love interests, mysterious entities, and lots of fun. Definitely worth a read. “ — Tower of Babel Reviews

Thanks for sharing, Barb, but what a shame about your reviews!! Especially when they are so difficult to get in the first place. 😦 I’ve just gone through your books and resubmitted my reviews where they were missing so hopefully others will do the same.

Yes, we have discovered 15 of our reviews have either not been accepted or deleted, so have started to resubmit them all, starting with two of Barb’s, of course!

Oh nooo! Disappearing reviews? I’m so sorry, Barb.
I love this book — kudos on the review. (Poor Lulu wouldn’t understand the concept of “don’t touch” 😉 ) Hugs!

Man, that sucks about the reviews. Would it help (or are we allowed) to go and repost our reviews?
