Hope it stays calm! (I’m on ferry back to mainland. Last week it was so bouncy, they were handing out sick bags. And people were sure using them!)

No, Arran is home. We bought what was supposed to be little place in Glasgow for the Hub when he’s working there. (Apparently his definition of “little” differs from mine, because we ended up with a needy 3-story townhouse that’s sucking up all my time and very begrudging attention when I’d much rather be back on the island. But I’m not bitter. Much…)

Brrrrrrr. It’s -30c windchill here, expected to hit -39 c tonight. I think I’ll just pull the covers over my head and wait til March. Beautiful picture, looks chilly.

Brrr indeed! My cousin in Illinois said they are colder than South Pole. I’ll stick with Scotland, thank you.

It’s gorgeous and a LOT warmer than Chicago. (Actual headline: “Chicago Is Colder Than Parts Of The Arctic, Yukon, And Mars”) MARS!

I’m beginning to think I live in the only place in Scotland that hasn’t had any snow – not that I want it.
