⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I’m so thrilled by this lovely review. To celebrate, I’m offering OMD at special SALE price! ONLY 99p/99¢ until Tuesday, November 14th.
Emily Gmitter, author of Happiness is a Warm Cat, reviews Oh My Dog! by Peri Taub, PTWP (Pandemic Therapist With Paws) as transcribed by her person, BARB TAUB.
I didn’t buy this book to learn about England or Scotland, but I did indeed learn a few things. Oh My Dog! is a delightful collection of stories that is as educational as it is entertaining. Dog therapist and writer extraordinaire, Peri has become a worldly traveler, just like her human. And it’s a good thing Peri takes to travel, because it appears her human would be lost without Peri’s expert counseling! The chapters on the differences between Americans and the English, for example–whether related to language or table manners or rules of the road–will make you laugh out loud or perhaps scratch your head in wonder. A fun read and I would recommend for dog *and* cat lovers here and abroad!
AND there’s more.
Life Begins When the Kids Leave Home and the Dog Dies is absolutely FREE for five days only, until 11 November.
The off-the-wall snark’s all there.—Best-selling author Terry Tyler

AS MY FURRY THERAPIST LIKES TO POINT OUT, DOGGY THERAPY ISN’T FREE. PLEASE HELP KEEP HER IN BISCUITS AND SPREAD THE NEWS OF THIS VERY TEMPORARY SALE/GIVEAWAY.

dear Barb, you KNOW how much i’d love to read any of your books and how very bad my eyes are. I DID try to get to the right place on Amazon DE (for Switzerland) but I understand that I would have to own an Amazon Kindle. I am nearly there anyway (to get a Kindle) but then I still have some 200+ books waiting patiently to be read. And the less I see and the less I’m able to read before everything swims in front of my eyes, the bl…y longer it takes to finish one book. So please, can you tell me if I’m right in assuming that I need the actual reader?
I haven’t even read your review of Terry’s book, knowing that I won’t be able to read it in due course. Which really, really bothers me as I have, in one desperate attempt to ignore my getting blind, ordered 15 modern fiction books of writers I adore and ‘must’ read before I no longer can. So, all my apologies for this ignoring a friend’s writing.
I’m actually thrilled that I can still follow my bloggers’ material, even if I have to skip much and I only read the posts of great interest to me. YOU I always read, probably because we have the same weird sense of humour and find something funny in even the worst of life’s attempts to kill us off.

Thanks, Beth. I confess to dancing around the back yard and cheering. The dog was worried.

I read on my laptop using the (free) Kindle reader—which does have a setting to control font size.

A well-deserved review! I’ve just finished reading Peri’s delightful book and will post a review of it soon. I laughed until my sides ached and the children grew anxious about my health…

This is lovely, Barb. And it’s been way too long since I read one of your books. I think a dose of Barb’s humor is needed. :-)
