We actually tried to figure out how we could load her into our car and get her out to the island house. Sadly, it wasn’t going to happen.

We have something like that over here (*across the pond on the BEST coast) – but not quite having the history you have over there we are more likely to see this :

Actually I think it’s wonderful. All of these beautiful things that carry the marks of human hands will have a chance to be a lovely part of a home or building. What would really be sad is if places like this did NOT exist.
