The beach with the dog, unpack for a couple of hours, work for a couple of hours and then back to the beach wth the dog. Why not do it all?

It’s Scotland. That means in about five minutes, it will be raining. I can turn on some loud tunes, unpack, and then get some work done. At least, until another five minutes goes by, the sun screams at me, there’s a rainbow…and that beach calls my name.

Ah, see THAT’S why you need a dog. All that whimpering and puppy-eyes and pleading—and that’s just on my end.

Unpacking finished then, Barb, huh?

Unpacking is NOT my forte. Let’s just say that I’m encountering boxes unpacked in the last two or three moves.

Even without a dog, I’d choose the beach.

Is it a BIG dog??

Smallish Australian shepherd (kind of like a less-intense Border Collie)

Let’s see: work. wait until the sun comes out and run to the beach, stay as long as possible, then come back for a nap!
