That’s exactly where I’m coming from! We’re in Italy, and they just announced we’ll be at full (Red level) lockdown until the end of this month. It had me thinking about other places I’ve been to remind myself that this one is pretty nice too.

Almost every place in Italy is wonderful, Barb. 😉 I’m sorry about the new lockdown. Perhaps it will comfort you that here in the north of Bavaria we had almost six months of dreadful weather, in addition to various “half” lockdowns. I never before had raliized this. Have a beautiful week! Best wishes ,Michael

Thank you very much, Barb! You and yours as well, even it must be horrible not be able to get the full experiences of Italy, these days. But you are much more closer to them, as everyone else, not able to reach one of Italy’s airports. 😉

Thanks, Mary. I can’t take all that much credit though. Google Photos sent me a folder of dozens of my sunset photos. Apparently, I like taking them.
(They also sent me a folder of foot photos, but I’m guessing it was the Google throwing snark at my tendency toward unintended/random/accidental/downfacing pix…) Curse them.

It reminds me of a moment sitting on a rock on Grand Manan, an island off the coast of Canada. It was nearing dusk and the only sound that could be heard was the raucous cries of the gulls following the fishing boats home from a day at sea. A gentle breeze caused the sound to undulate as if to match the movements of the birds. It was a precious moment, gone too soon.

I love all these photos. You caught the light perfectly on all of them. The picnic by the bridge n Paris is wonderful. Do you know which bridge it is by?

We had a sunset picnic there too, but these locals were much more photo-worthy! (But we were the ones with Berthillon ice cream for dessert!)

Wow, you have amazing colours in your photos – mine never come out like I see them! Although Venice is hard to make bad.:)
