I’d have to tack a few other things on the list too, but a garden and library is a great start (especially if it’s a garden like yours)

What else is on your list? (Other than your dog, of course…)

Mint is taking over our garden…need to make more mojitos! The squirrels are munching on our tomatoes, so we are distracting them with cracked corn. Coffee, yes!

I also have a Marcus to quote.
“Remember that all is opinion. For what was said by the Cynic Monimus is manifest: and manifest too is the use of what was said, if a man receives what may be got out of it as far as it is true.” — Marcus Aurelius, The Meditations (Book Two)

Post Script: I try to read a little bit of this dude every night before retiring (or passing out drunk). As they say: “Everything is old is new again.”
“From my governor, to be neither of the green nor of the blue party at the games in the Circus, nor a partizan either of the Parmularius or the Scutarius at the gladiators’ fights; from him too I learned endurance of labour, and to want little, and to work with my own hands, and not to meddle with other people’s affairs, and not to be ready to listen to slander.” — Book One, The Meditations
