Hike up Glen Sannox with interested sheep, and hop stepping stones across the burn.
Visit a castle, tour a distillery, and take home a drivers dram.
Walk a swan-filled beach.
Finish with an evening concert. Laura Penman, student at Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, with her Clarsach (Celtic harp.)

Fabulous scenes. I’ve seen it advertised as Scotland in miniature so it would be a perfect place to spend a few days.

Actually, there is a fantastic steam train that goes from Fort William to Mallaig, through gorgeous countryside. It was used in the Harry Potter movies, and goes over that amazing arched viaduct bridge. Totally bucket-list worthy!

Every time I return to Arran, it’s like I’m 20 lbs lighter and can breathe more easily.

That was a fun trip and I didn’t gain a pound. Well, maybe I did after looking at that scone. Think I’ll take this trip again. Thanks for being such a wonderful host. 🙂
