Barb, the blunt truth is — I’m terrified. In December of 2020 I told my doctor, “I should be feeling happier and relieved now that the election is done, but I’m more worried than ever. I’m afraid there will be a coup.” She assured me of the extreme unlikeliness of such a thing.
After that, I’m afraid to even discuss what it’s escalated into.
