That’s a much more polite version of my reaction, but yes.

We left the country. It seemed like the right thing at the time.

Having to shake out each think before we packed it made the process much longer, but I have to agree with you. We got out and stayed out.

Looks like the ‘little’ chap that lives in our utility room… I make sure I’m never bare-footed in there as he’s a floor-dwelling biter. But we live in a kind of harmony. He does complain though that the flies never fly low enough.
I adore that photo of your voyage home – what a lovely sunset. (It might, of course, be a sunrise, I wouldn’t know, I’m a late-riser and rarely see it).

Does your little roommate have a name? It seems like it would be really fun to scream at unsuspecting guests, “STOOOOP! You’ll squish Jeremy!”

We – hubby and I – call it ‘Wolfie’ because it’s a Wolf Spider (a small one, thankfully – if it were the size of ‘normal’ ones, I’d show it the door (and open the door for it, too). But the name makes us laugh because it was also the nickname of a character in a TV comedy show in the 70s.

And you’re so right—definitely a sunset. Since we live in Scotland, I take my sunrises in the middle of the winter (at about lunch time).

Mmmm… must be a whole lot darker there than here in the winter. You have the dark, we have the rain. (I’m in Wales).
