Someone shared a photo of an enormous sign on the outside wall of a restaurant: “Life lessons will be repeated until they are learned” 🙃

If it’s a good restaurant, I’m happy for the repeat.

You picked some right ones here, Barb. Donut Repair? Maybe they need to replace the sprinkles or the icing?

I had to know, so I went inside to find one of the best bakeries in Glasgow, but no explanation of “Donut Repair” other than the owner thought it was amusing. I still think there’s a story there…

I’m not sure why, but somehow I wasn’t expecting to find that Scots have a universally embraced and wide-ranging sense of humor that demands expression. It makes life here pretty fun.

I’m just back from an op in hospital and 3 days later my mum died (luckily peacefully in her sleep. Her wis was granted…), and yesterday I learned that a nasty and painful ‘angry ‘outburst of ooze at the side of writing hand is actually herpes…. the minute the immune system turns its back (eg an operation), the buggers came out and messed my much needed hand up. As I have the best writing ✍ I was destined to put the addresses on the envelopes. This hurts so much. I can’t place my paw on the table, so sis and bro had to do it!
