Thanks Michael! After I took these shots this morning, we were hit by a big storm. My roses are mostly flattened, but we got off easy. Some houses on the north end of the island lost roofs and had lots of damage.

That sky was really trying to warn us. After I took these shots, a big storm hit. My garden does NOT look like this anymore. But we got off without lasting damage. Houses on the north side of the island lost roofs and had lots of other damage.

That sky was a big threat, and it came true with a big storm. My garden is pretty flattened, but other islanders on the north side of the island had damage to their houses and roofs.

It was lucky I took those photos this morning, because that red sky wasn’t kidding. A big storm hit and lots of my beds are flattened. But that was nothing compared to other islanders’ houses and roofs being damaged.

You wouldn’t envy me if you could see my garden now. That red sky’s warning came true and a big storm hit, flattening my garden. But others had it worse, with the storm taking off roofs and damaging houses.

I’m glad you didn’t sustain any damage besides a mess in your garden. I’m sure your neighbors will get plenty of help—your island seems to be full of wonderful people.

We’ve had one similar recently but luckily everything righted itself. We are having a warm spell – temps are more like September than November and the mums and pansies are flourishing.

It was pretty while it lasted. After I took the pix, we had a huge storm today. I just lost some roses and beds, but others on the island had damaged houses and roofs.

The fairy tale went over to the dark side today. After I took those pictures, we had a huge storm. My beds are basically flattened, but others on the north end had damaged houses and roofs.
