Expect a visit from a short, chunky woman wearing druid’s robes next equinox. (I love your garden; now I love your house, too…)

I love my house and garden too, and you’re always welcome. (Jeans are fine.)

You must be situated on a lay line! Yes, I expect druids will soon arrive. Fall is gorgeous and yes, I think we will be visiting on a railroad tour next fall…

I tried to look it up, but couldn’t find any maps of local ley-lines. But all of Arran feels magic, so you may be right. What you won’t be doing, however, is visiting Arran by train. Sadly, we’re dependent on a woefully superannuated and unreliable ferry system.

Yup, I know and I’m disappointed. It’s a foreshortened tour but if all goes well, the next time we’ll rent a car and do our own tour, which I very much prefer. Hubs is not so sure about driving, but we’ve visited the UK many times! Then we can curse the ferry all the way there!

Gorgeous! I agree that Druids will be paying a visit.

Druids welcome any time. We have a firepit, and plenty of marshmallows, if anyone wants to take a break from druiding.

Spring’s my favourite time, but Autumn is a close follower. It softens the harsh glare of the summer sun and presents a subtle choice of jewel shades. x

My only regret about autumn is that the days are getting shorter. I do love those summer white nights!
